ACEFAST Crystal T6 ENC Earbuds Review

I review many headphones and earbuds on my YouTube channel some are from the big brands and some are not, but the Acefast T1’s surprised me quite a bit. If you haven’t checked out my review on the T1’s, you can check it out below:

I liked the Acefast T1’s because they offered genuine quality at a very reasonable price, that’s why I decided to test and try out their latest product, the Acefast T6.

I’ve been daily driving the Acefast T6 earbuds for around a week and I can honestly say that I’m impressed. These cool-looking earbuds range at $39.99 or £32.71 if you’re in the UK and whilst they’re not currently available on the UK marketplace, they are available on AliExpress and on the Amazon US store.

My Video:

How These Differ From Others

LED Display

To begin with, unlike others, the main selling point of these earbuds is the LED Display which not only shows the battery percentage of the case, but also the actual earbuds.

I really like this feature because it means that before I head out I can see how much battery life the earbuds have left without the need of actually connecting them to my phone to see in the settings.

USB-C Charging

Something that surprisingly still sets these apart from other wireless earbuds on the market is the fact that they use USB-C. I’m not a fan of Micro-USB but unfortunately, many manufacturers still choose to use this now-dated technology for the budget and in some cases even their mid-range solutions.

Transparent Desing

I must admit, as a tech nerd I’m a huge fan of the transparent design, particularly on the Acefast T6 earbuds as it makes them look futuristic and pretty cool, especially if we combine that LED Display with it.

Silicone Case Included

One thing that I was very surprised to see is the silicon case that was included in the box. I think it’s safe to say that this is the first time that I have ever seen a case, other than the charging case included in the packaging.

In the video, I mentioned that I used them outside of the protective case with my keys lose in my pocket but the charging case didn’t scratch which shows that it’s well made. If we combine that with the silicone case we have a pretty good accessory which we can attach to our keys or even our backpacks. The possibilities are endless.

Sound Quality

I wanted to start by saying that over the years, I’ve tested many truly wireless earbuds at different price points and at their $39.99 price tag, these really surprised me! The sound quality is clean and crisp and they offer a decent level of bass without being too overpowering. I could easily compare these to headphones priced at around $120, that’s how good the sound quality is!

ENC

Staying with sound quality, let’s talk about the environmental noise-cancelling technology (ENC) these have to offer because it’s actually decent and I would compare them to entry-level active noise cancelling earbuds.

I’ve tested these in many areas such as a train, a shopping centre and even just walking down a street and I can honestly say that I’m satisfied with the level of noise-cancelling these provide. Let’s not get too excited and remember that these are in effect budget earbuds, so I’m comparing them to budget active-noise cancelling earbuds, but still, it’s very comparable.

The Verdict

Overall, I think that these are a pair of really good truly-wireless earbuds and I actually struggled to find anything wrong with them, but I had to put something down.

As a UK-based content creator, I like to see things sell off the shelves or even on the UK version of Amazon but I understand that it’s not always possible, especially for the smaller brands. So if you don’t mind the wait, you should be able to get them off the Amazon US site or AliExpress.

In terms of the design, I think that it’s a really nice design that works very well. I have mentioned that the open-case design is a disadvantage, but in actual fact, I think that it’s both a con and a pro at the same time. In my review video, you saw me shake the case to have the earbuds fall out and they didn’t which is a huge advantage. I think that this is thanks to the light earbuds and a strong magnetic clamp. Now the reason I mentioned it as a disadvantage is simply that you will have that feeling where you worry about them falling out. I guess this is a new solution which may not be popular with some, but I actually quite like it.

Staying on with the design, I really like the fact that you have a LED screen showing the battery levels of the charging case and the actual earbuds. It makes life a lot easier and I guess you won’t have to worry about whether you’ve charged your earbuds or not, something I frequently forget to do.

Now after combining the advantages of these earbuds and comparing them to earbuds at a similar price range, I think that these are a very good set of wireless earbuds, I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for a decent budget set.
