Who Does What?
As the name of this blog implies, this is my personal tech blog where I share my own experiences with technology, and unless stated otherwise, all content is written by me (Dom Kwolczak).
While I try to use my own photos and images where possible, sometimes I do use third-party images with permission. All images are the property of respected authors and are used with permission on this website. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
Apart from writing, I also do the research for every single article I write and product I review. This involves looking at product specifications and descriptions, doing hands-on research, and product testing.
The content I create on this blog is my own, and unless stated otherwise, I write every single article on this blog.
How Do I Earn From This Site?
The primary way I earn from this site is from ad revenue provided through Google AdSense, a program run by Google that displays ads next to your online content.
The secondary way I earn from this site is by partnering with trusted brands who sponsor blog posts. These blog posts have a disclaimer on them that states that they have been sponsored and by whom. All sponsored content is created independently by myself, and while the brand can choose the features and things I write about and add links, these do not influence a positive review if I am writing a review. I do not accept pre-written sponsored content; all sponsored posts are written by me.
The third way I earn from this site is through inserting affiliate links into my content. These links help me earn commissions from purchases made using my links. When it comes to affiliate marketing, I only partner with brands and products I either use myself or recommend based on my own experience. Brand Collaborations
Occasionally I collaborate with brands. In these cases, I ensure that all sponsored content is clearly marked. As a tech reviewer, sometimes I allow brands to send me products to review. However, I always make it clear with the brands that I don’t accept products or gifts in return for positive reviews. I also ensure that I inform you that the product for which I am writing a review has been sent to me to try out. But in most cases, I buy the products I review myself.
I only work with brands that align with my values and whose products or services are relevant to my blog. Sponsored content will always be designed to be informative and useful, but most importantly of all honest and unbiased. Just because a product is provided to me at no cost does not mean I will review it or feature it in a blog post or video.
Plagiarism, Fact-Checking and Accuracy
As a writer, I take plagiarism seriously. That’s why I ensure that all content is written by myself. It’s also the reason that I don’t tend to regularly accept guest posts. If content is found to be plagiarised, it will be removed immediately.
Before publishing any article or review, I take time to fact-check and ensure all the information I share is correct. If information is found to be outdated or incorrect, I will update it as soon as I can. But, as technology is constantly evolving and as brands make changes from time to time, I encourage readers to verify the details themselves as part of their decision-making process.
