I’ve Been Using Bublup for Two Years, And Its New AI Feature Just Changed Everything!

As a long-term Bublup user and a fan of artificial intelligence, I’m glad to see Bublup implementing AI features, especially ones that are useful. That’s the thing with AI, if used the right way, it can actually be extremely useful.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Bublup before, it’s literally the place to store your digital stuff. From bookmarks, to links, pictures and more. Bublup also has some fantastic collaboration features too, such as creating private and secure online communities, giving members the ability for people to comment and interact with things or the ability to present things in a group folder or even create a public, dynamically updating webpages called Rolls.
I’ve primarily been using Bublup for saving bookmarks to interesting content and as a file manager for digital content. On my website, I’ve also been using the Roll feature to showcase my everyday tech carry and many other things.
Bublup is an app I’ve written about many times before, but in this article, I will be focusing on the AI Curator, which is actually a really cool feature.
So, without any further ado…

What is Bublup?
Before we get any further in this article, I wanted to introduce you to Bublup and some of its core functionality.
Bublup is an app that allows you to save links, photos, files, notes and more – all in one place so everything around any project can stay together. But what sets Bublup apart from the crowd is its collaboration and AI features.
With the help of Bublup, you can share folders and have people comment and interact on things within the folders.
If you want to be fancy, you can create what’s called a Roll, which is a quick web page created from a folder.
For example, here is a Roll I created featuring my everyday tech carry. I find Rolls to be great for presenting things, such as photography, products, work and more!
As a whole, Bublup is an app with many possibilities and an ideal replacement for Pocket, which has already shut down.
Introducing Bublup AI Curator
Bublup’s AI Curator is a clever feature that helps you discover and organise information on any topic. Simply tell it what you’re interested in, and it will automatically find relevant articles, videos and images from across the web, saving them directly into Bublup.
Best of all, it can even keep your collections fresh by automatically adding new content from your favourite blogs and websites as they’re published.
This makes the tool incredibly useful for research. Put it this way, it’s the tool I wish I had when I was also a student!
At its heart, the AI Curator populates your folders with interesting content on a specific topic from the websites you follow. This saves you the time and effort of manually searching for and saving links, images, and videos. For example, I’m currently exploring the Samsung ecosystem, I can enable the AI Curator in my Samsung Ecosystem folder and set it to find things with the term Samsung Ecosystem.
Bublup has always been a powerful tool for organising your digital life, but the introduction of the AI Curator takes its capabilities to a whole new level.

Automated Content Organisation – quality over quantity
When you ask the AI to find content on a topic, it doesn’t just do a basic search. It’s smart enough to actually analyse the content it finds to make sure it’s relevant.
This means you get a folder full of useful links, articles, and videos, not just random junk. It’s all about quality over quantity.
The AI Curator helps keep your folders neat and tidy. Every item it saves gets a clear title and a handy summary, so you can see what’s what at a glance.

Instead of you spending hours searching for information, you can simply give the AI a prompt, like “best places to visit in Poland” or “articles about the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 8”. It does all the hard work for you, building a collection of useful content so you can get straight to the interesting part.
Real-World Use-Cases
For Researchers and Students
I know I’ve said this before, but as a whole, Bublup is a tool I wished I had when I was at university, and the AI features would have been the icing on the cake. Instead of spending nights with twenty or more tabs open trying to find sources for coursework, I could have used Bublup AI to help me find relevant articles.
For example, if I am searching for case studies where migrating to AWS have helped small companies, I can simply give the AI assistant a prompt, then use the AI Curator to make the content more relevant to what I’m writing about. If the AI Curator finds content that doesn’t relate to what I’m after, it will move it to a private sub-folder (called “Removed Web Pages”). That way when I am collaborating with others in a folder, they only see the final filtered content and not the removed junk.
For Community Admins
Imagine a community admin who wants to bring the latest and greatest research on a given topic to their community. With active RSS feeds and Google Alerts feeding to the AI Curator, they can provide relevant content to the community members to increase peer-to-peer communication and foster engagement. I have seen several medical societies and disease foundations using this capability to good effect. Here’s a roll that Bublup has on their main webpage on how these capabilities are useful in managing a secure, visual hub to streamline advocacy efforts.
For Content Creators
As a tech blogger, I think that the AI Curator can be extremely useful especially when it comes to product research.
Before writing a review, I could ask it to find me “reviews, specs, and video comparisons for the latest Nothing Phone”. It will then create a folder for the topic, add some useful content and I can ask the AI Curator to narrow down the search by setting the main point to be about the Nothing Phone (3).
Final Thoughts
As a long-term Bublup user, I think that Bublup is a fantastic tool with a lot of potential, and its AI features are truly game-changing.
The ability to have the AI automatically populate folders with relevant research, articles, and industry news turns it from a passive storage folder into an active, intelligent partner for any project. This, combined with AI-powered summaries, dramatically cuts down on the manual work of discovery and allows you to get to the core insights faster.
On top of that when collaborating on projects, you can use Bublup’s core functionality such as the ability to comment and react to things, make to-do lists and more.
As a paying customer for nearly two years, I can honestly say that Bublup has made my digital life more organised. It’s a tool I genuinely believe in. That’s why if you are interested in trying out Bublup for yourself, I am leaving my affiliate link.
