Grow Your Email List With This Awesome Feature From Bublup!
Awesome Feature, Especially for Those Looking to Start an Email Newsletter!
This blog post is sponsored by Bublup. But, all views and opinions are my own, based on my usage of the Bublup over the last couple of weeks.
For those of you who are new here, I run a ConvertKit-powered weekly email newsletter where I share exclusive content as well as views and opinions that I don’t share elsewhere.
As a content creator, I find that email newsletters are a great way of getting closer to my audience, especially since anybody can reply to my emails!
I leave a link to the newsletter at the end of every story I share to Medium, the description of any YouTube video I publish and on top of that, there are forms plastered all over my website.
I find that this is the type of approach many bloggers and content creators choose, but there isn’t really anything there that sets my newsletter apart from the others. There’s nothing really there that screams at you.
That’s where Bublup comes in!
Bublup has an awesome lead magnet feature that will not only give something back to your subscribers, it will also make you stand out from the crowd, and allow you to dynamically keep updating shared content. Your followers can join your “folder” to get live updates, react to the content and interact with you!
How cool is that!
It offers a great way to share exclusive content and rewards
Have you ever seen those newsletter signup forms that offer you something in return like an exclusive article, access to an e-book or any other digital content?
They are very convincing right?
Well, with the help of Bublup, you can do something even better!
As shown in this video, you can create a folder full of exclusive content and once the subscriber confirms their email address, it will provide a page full of content.
Now, what you decide to add to that page is entirely up to you, but the possibilities are endless!
At present, I add unreleased blog posts as well as premium access to some of my blog posts, but I plan to do a lot more in the future!
Adding incentives such as premium content to your newsletter signup process seriously does improve the rates of subscriptions, after all, your subscribers are getting free stuff!
You can connect it to ConvertKit and MailChimp!
It doesn’t stop there! If like me you are using ConvertKit or MailChimp to collect email addresses, you can actually integrate the signup form with these services, meaning that the emails will automatically appear in whichever service you use.
Personally, I think that this is a really good feature as it gives you the ability to integrate two very well-established newsletter platforms into your lead magnet page.
Setting this all up is extremely easy and doesn’t take more than a couple of minutes, This handy page will run you through the entire installation process.
I don’t currently use MailChimp so I can’t really comment on how easy it was to set up, but looking at the guide, it certainly does look easy!
In terms of setting it up with ConvertKit, all I had to do was copy and paste my API, API Secret key and the tags for the newsletter page, which you can create in ConvertKit.
But overall, the setup was incredibly easy!
Final thoughts
Bublup is a tool I’ve been using for a while and I can fully see the potential in using it in your everyday life, especially when it comes to saving articles I want to come back later to, planning trips as well as managing recipes. But these are just some of the ways that you can use Bublup.
As a content creator, I’ve been using Bublup in an entirely different way, especially when it comes to research for upcoming content. For example, I’m currently trying out the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 smartwatch and I have created a folder for it in Bublup where I keep all the relevant things as well as notes of things I notice while using the watch.
On a totally different note, Bublup recently released a pretty cool AI Creator feature which turns out to be incredibly useful especially when it comes to research for upcoming content.
All of this translates to content further along the line! But there are many other ways you can use Bublup as a content creator, some of which can be found here.
With the lead magnet feature, I can now make more use of Bublup and outside of the sponsored blog post, I hope to make it the default way for people to sign up for my newsletters too.
I mean look at it this way, with the help of Bublup, not only are you signing up for a weekly newsletter but you are also getting exclusive content, something which I hope to make a lot more of in the coming months!
To summarise this blog post, I think that the lead magnet feature that Bublup offers has huge potential and that it’s generally an awesome way to give something back to the audience!
